marsupials. When marsupials are born they climb into their mother’s pouch. The babies are very small when they’re born. After the joeys are six months old they can get out of their mother’s pouch. They check out their legs. The joey starts to hop around the field. If the baby goes too far the mother calls.
Some predators like dingoes can catch kangaroos. If the dingoes get too close the kangaroo drops the baby in a safe place. The mother comes back for the baby at night.
Father kangaroos are the boss of the mob. A mob is a group of kangaroos. If another male tries to be the boss of the mob they fight.
